Technical explanation:

When a computer extracts data from a CD audio, the CD audio is considered, first of all, like a digital data support. Extracting software like iTunes ® comes with an option" acquisition without a error correction". Then, the computer will make migrate all the data from the CD to its hard drive (internal, external or on the network).

In a traditional CD player, the lecture of the CD is called: " with the flow". It is downstream. If an information may be revealed as corrupted, the CD player, whatever its quality, will use its error corrector (the corrector system are responsible of the typical emergent tone according to one or another player which use one or another mechanic basis. Thus we say, that the mechanic XXX is softer than the mechanic YYY).
The CD conceptor predicted this problem and made the CD redundant in order that some information non read at the first play can be read little further on the track or simply interpolate.

On the other hand, the computer have an obligation of total extraction (Bit perfect) and can pass and re-pass on an uncertain data until the extraction is perfect thanks to the redundancy back-up anticipated in the code of the CD engraving (RED BOOK). 

If an information and its back-up revealed themselves as no readable (that's never happen till now to me), the application would then refuse the totality of the CD and would show an error message.

Because of this:


We are sure that all the information content on the CD will be transferred to the computer hard drive or its network.
  • The interpolations and the degradations that it causes don't exist anymore. 

  • The information transmitted to the computer are an identical image of the engraving Master (the matrix).

While transferring by WIFI upright data, conform to the original engrave master, the conversion numerical/analogical is done the same way at it exits at the output of a professional engraving console.

The link WIFI ‘’must’’ be considered as a qualitative element insofar as none physical link exist between a computer and your High Fidelity installation. 
Any disturbance generated by high frequency decoupling power supplies of the computer that could be transmitted by any wired connection are discarded

Finally, the clock for the reconstruction of musical signals in the Rosita systems is perfectly accurate, according to what is found in the professional Master Clock. It ensures in a single component performing the conversion to Analog / SPDIF to work in perfect conditions.

In a traditional setting of digital reading and digital to analog conversion, the multiplication of transport and transformations that signals have to pass trough cause degradation of the musicality.
In the Airport Express system, the information are translated from a state of raw network data to a state of musical signal in a SINGLE component !!! The incredible reduction of the path of the digital signal is essential in the preservation of the of the musicality and to avoid any jitter issue. In addition there are no loss of insertion  (passing from components to another). Everything happens in a unique and single component, the size of 2 Euro!!).
